About

Hi!! I’m super excited you’ve stopped in for a visit. I promise it’s gonna be a good time! I’m 3’6″, I use a wheelchair, I’ve broken over 75 bones and I love this life! I’m a passionate traveller and am happy to share my tips, tricks and personally curated and experienced accessible itineraries. The beauty in this big wide world should be accessible to everyone, and I want to help you find it!

One day I’ll have my wheels permanently planted in the sand, but right now life obligations keep me based in Toronto, (which is pretty alright too, I’m fiercely loyal to all things T dot), with my husband Mark, (aka Travel Partner) and our Exotic Shorthair Persian cat, (aka Grumpy Cat). I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist and this truly brings me so much joy every day. I love cheese pizza and green tea. I over-use the exclamation mark! I can’t draw a stick person but I feel like Picaso drawing my face on each morning with my love for make-up and pretty colours. I plan my free time around the sun and if I must be inside then I’ve got Toronto sports on the TV.

Living a life that’s often in contradiction of society’s ideas and assumptions about what my life is or should be, affords me some funny, unique and at times almost unbelievable stories, and you’ll find some of those mixed in here too! See, sounds like a good time, right?

Help open this world up to people of all abilities and give my site a like, share, shout-out, or comment! Add your stories, experiences… let’s get connected!
